I agree with you. To be honest, I think we're speaking about different things. If my article was about trying or not trying, it would be worded completely different and actually sound like this comment you left here :)

However, my article is not about the trying/not trying dichotomy. It's about double standards within the community of people who already care and already try. I see a lot of crystal buyers being shamed and blamed; but I don't see any technology users being shamed and blamed in the same way. And yet, both come from mines, both damage the environment in very similar ways. That's my main point. x
