Not necessarily. I'd be interested in knowing if Susmitha only predicts the negative. If so, she has found a maladaptive way to "hone her skill" so to speak - that is, feeding her fears too much, so that only the input about negative outcomes reaches her - and she misses out on all the positive things she could be predicting too. (Or, you know, misses out on ignoring everything in case she wishes not to know. It can take some persistence but it works).
Some negative outcomes we tune into end up becoming self-fulfilling prophecies, because instead of taking a detached stance, we get caught-up in the fear and make things worse than they could have been. There are events we can't fully prevent, but we don't NEED to worsen with anxiety. I know, easier said than done.
